Rima plays a different role in 'Bavoottiyude Namathil'

Rima Kallingal is happy to have a different role betwixt the clichéd characters which she has been doing for a long time. Rima does the role of a soft-spoken, shy, Muslim girl, in the forthcoming movie ‘Bavoottiyude Namathil’ scripted by Ranjith.


"My role, Noorjahan, is a soft-spoken and shy Muslim girl from Calicut," says Rima. She hopes that her role as a Muslim girl from Calicut will be a landmark in her acting career.


Kavya Madhavan plays the lead heroine in this movie where as Rima Kallingal appears in a cameo role. The story is based on the life in Malabar with Mammootty doing the title character. The shoot of this film which is expected to be released in 2013 is progressing in full swing.
