Rosshan Andrrews getting ready to direct Mohanlal again
Oct 1, 2007 NRRosshan Andrrews is no doubt one of the luckiest directors in Malayalam Cinema today. After having worked in just four films as an assistant director (not even as an associate director), he made his debut as an independent director, directing none other than Mohanlal and acquiring the support of stalwarts like Sreenivasan (who scripted the film and acted in it) and reputed producer C. Karunakaran of Carlton Films. The film Udayanaau Thaaram was a runaway hit and thus, with just one film, Rosshan got catapulted into the big league.
He then did Notebook, with debutante artists mostly, and the film was produced by one of the most respected of Malayalam film producers, P.V. Gangadharan of Grihalakshmi Productions. And now, this young enterprising director from Ernakulam is all set to direct Mohanlal once again, in his forthcoming venture, Casanova. The film, details of which are yet to be divulged, will be produced under the banner of Impresario Motion Pictures Ltd and will feature script by Bobby and Sanjay, who had scripted Rosshan's Notebook. The film is reportedly likely to commence shoot early next year.
