Rumours of actor's demise spreads panic!

Cochin, Feb.2 (NR): News of actor Cochin Haneefa's demise that was aired on a popular news channel today afternoon spread panic among the viewers.

A few minutes after several prominent film personalities offered their condolences, it was announced that there was an error in the news and that there was some confusion regarding the way in which the news was transferred by the hospital authorities.

Haneefa has been admitted to Ramachandra Hospital in Chennai on account of liver ailments. As of now, his condition remains critical.
