Rupesh Paul to direct 'Dracula' in 3D!

Cochin, Sep.3 (NR): There would be very few people who haven't heard the story of Dracula. The horror novel that was made into film several times would now be made in Malayalam for the first time.


'Dracula' would arrived in 3D and would be produced by Frames Film Company and Cinema Verithe.


'Dracula' would be directed by Rupesh Paul who had earlier directed the film 'My Mother's Laptop'. The film would make use of I max 3D fusion digital technology that was used in the Hollywood biggie 'Avatar'.


Dracula would be regionalised for the film, and he would enter the body of a forensic surgeon who is based in Kerala.


The technical teams mostly consists of foreigners with UK- based cinematographer Antonio Rui Riverio wielding the camera.


'Dracula' will be produced by Preman Ponthen and Sajeev Menon. The musical score is by Sreevalsan J. Menon, who had also composed the music for Rupesh'e earlier film. K. Jayakumar and Rafeeq Ahmed would pen the lyrics.


Choreography is by Casina Campbell and editing by Joshua Ronaldo. The film would feature several actors from India and abroad.


The shoot of the film that would be made on a budget of approximately ten crores would start in October. The film would be a Christmas release.
