Samir Thahir to turn director with 'Chappa Kurishu'

Cochin, Apr.1 (NR): Ace cinematographer Samir Thahir would turn director with a film titled 'Chappa Kurishu'.

The term is a local slang word from Fort Kochi and has the meaning of the 'heads or tails' expression.

Fahad Fazil and Vineeth Sreenivasan would play the lead roles in the film. The young actors would play dramatically contrasting characters.

'Chappa Kurishu' would be produced by Magic Frames after the super successful 'Traffic'. The shoot of the film that would have the tag line 'Based on a 1000 stories' would start at Kochin on the 25th of April.
