Samvritha gets married today

Actress Samvritha Sunil gets married today to Akhil Jayaraj from Kozhikode. The auspicious function will take place near Payyambalam Beach, at Kannur. Only a few near relatives and friends are taking part in the function. The wedding reception for her friends in the film world will be held at Ernakulam Le Meridian on the 6th of November.

Akhil is an Engineer at California Walt Disney Company. Though the marriage was fixed in January she has to complete her committed projects. She said that she will take a break from the industry after her marriage and will move to California with Akhil.

Samvritha made her debut through Lal Jose film ‘Rasikan’. From there she got a number of movies which soon made her the dearest actress of the Malayalees. Her memorable roles include those in ‘Cocktail’, ‘Mallu Singh’, ‘Diamond Necklace’, ‘Arike’. She has also acted in Tamil and Telugu films.

‘101 Weddings’ directed by Shafi is her last film waiting for release. Her latest released movie ‘Ayalum Njanum Thammil’ by Lal Jose is running to packed houses with highly positive reviews.
