Santosh Sivan to do film for Kerala tourism

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 24 (IANS): Renowned cinematographer and director Santosh Sivan will be doing a series of promotional films for Kerala tourism.

Said Kerala tourism director T.O. Sooraj: "The entire budget for the project is Rs. 9.2 million. Santosh Sivan has been asked to finish the work and hand the final version in a month's time. This would be aired on international TV channels and also on Indian TV channels."

Sivan has been asked to do six separate one-minute films depicting all the myriad facets of tourism in Kerala.

This would be the second time that the maker of "The Terrorist" and "Asoka" would be doing a film on Kerala's tourism. His last film was shown extensively on national and international TV channels.
