Sathyan and Jayaram team up again

Ace director Sathyan Anthikkad, the man behind several successful family entertainers that had Jayaram in the lead, teams up with the actor again for his next venture, which will have the beautiful waterscape of Kuttanad as the backdrop.

It's after a long gap that the two are coming together. The last time they teamed up was in Manassinakkare. Kanha will play the leading lady opposite Jayaram. Others in the cast include Nedumudi Venu, Naren, Innocent Mammu Koya, KPAC Lalitha, Venu Nagavalli, Lakshmipriya, Reshmi Bobban, Vanitha, and Rugminiamma.

Sathyan Anthikkad himself provides the script for the film, which will have Vayalar Sarath Chandra Varma writing the lyrics and Illayaraja composing the music. Venu will do the camera work, while K. Rajagopal will do the editing. Joseph Nellickal will do the art direction. Kumar Edappal will take care of costumes, while Pandian will be in charge of make-up. The as yet un-named film is being produced by M.M. Hamsa under the banner of Kala Sangham.
