Sathyan Anthikkad planning Mohan Lal film

For die-hard fans of Sathyan Anthicaud who are disappointed because the director isn't coming up with a Christmas release, there is good news.

The popular director who makes films about the lives of ordinary Malayalees that have always touched a chord our hearts, is reported to be planning yet another film with Mohanlal in lead role. To be produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirwad Cinemas, the film will feature script by Satyan Anthicaud himself. Sathyan Anthicaud, Mohanlal and Antony Perumbavoor had last teamed up in Rasathanthram.

The film, which will feature cinematography by Shaji and will also have Mukesh and Rahman in key roles, is most likely to start rolling in January 2008. The as yet unnamed film (Sathyan has this habit of delaying the naming his films till much after the shoot begins), will in all probability be Mohanlal's Vishu release during April next year.
