Shafi's Next is a Youth Flick

Hit-making director Shafi, who had last given us the yummy Chocolate, is getting ready for another youthful flick. This time he is bringing in Prithviraj, Jayasurya and Kunchacko Boban too. (Kunchacko Boban, who had once been a teenage sensation, has not been seen for quite some time in films, though he had recently announced his intentions of producing a film).

The Shafi-film, which as usual will be a wholesome entertainer with sentiments, comedy, colourfully choreographed songs etc, will be scripted by Rafi and Mecartin. The film is likely to start rolling by July and is being considered for release during Ramzan. Films by Shafi and Rafi-Mecartin have always adhered to time schedules and are released on time to cash in on one festival or another. So let's hope this too gets released on time and becomes one of the top-grossers during the coming Ramzan. The film is to be distributed by Vaishakha Release.
