Shaji-Renji duo again

The hit-maker Shaji- Renji duo is again joining hands for ‘Pennu’ after their recent debacle ‘King and the Commissioner’. As the title suggests this is a female oriented movie, the first attempt of this kind from the team.

The film will be going on the floors once his Jayaram starrer ‘Madirasi’ is completed. ‘Simhasanam’, with Prithviraj in the lead role was the last released film by Shaji Kailas, which had not met with good response.

The duo has teamed up earlier for many hit films like ‘Thalasthanam’, ‘Ekalavyan’, ‘Sthalathe Pradhana Payyans’, ‘Commissioner’, ‘The King’.

It is learned that a top actress from the industry will do the leading role in ‘Pennu’. But the team has not yet revealed who it will be.
