Shwetha Menon in T K Rajeev Kumar's 'Rathi Nirvedam'

Cochin, Nov.3 (NR): Putting all speuclations as to who would don the role of Rathi chechi in the film 'Rathi Nirvedam', Shwetha Menon has agreed to play the lead in the film.

It was recently reported that Shwetha would also play the main role in the sequel to the hit film 'Avalude Ravukal', but the actress had later dismissed the reports as false.

The film which is a remake of the yesteryear hit film by the same name, that was directed by Bharathan, would be shot again by T K Rajeev Kumar.

The hunt for a teenage boy to play the role originally done by Krishnachandran is still on.

Suresh Kumar would produce the film under the banner of Revathy Kalamandir. Suresh Kumar had remade another film 'Neelathamara' last year.
