Siddique to become active in Malayalam

Director Siddique, who has delivered many hit entertainers, has not been active in Mollywood for quite some time. But now this hit-maker, who recently made the Tamil film Sadhu Mirandaa, is all set to become active on home turf once again, after a gap of about five years, with a slew of films in the offing.

While the first one would be a Dileep-starrer titled Bodyguard, to be produced by Johnny Sagarika, the next would be a Mohanlal-starrer, details regarding which are still awaited.

And after these two, Siddique would be doing a film with Mammootty, which would be produced by Shahul Hameed Marikkar and Anto Joseph under the banner of Marikkar Films. While Bodyguard is likely to be released in 2008, Siddique's Mohanlal-starrer would be released during Vishu (April) 2009 and the Mammootty film would be released during Christmas next year. Seems it's time Malayalam Cinema started getting some big hits once again, for Siddique has a track-record of delivering hit after hit.
