Simran back in Malayalam

Actress Simran, who had made her debut in the South with a Malayalam movie, Indraprastham, acting opposite Mammootty in 1996, is now back once again in Malayalam. (It should be remembered that Simran, who is from Punjab, had acted in Hindi films like Sanam Harjaee and Tere Mere Sapne before doing Indraprastham and it was only after Indraprastham that she had gone over to Tamil too).

After remaining away from showbiz for a while after her wedding, Simran makes a comeback acting in a Tamil film, a Telugu film and a Malayalam film. In Malayalam Simran is acting in Heart Beats, directed by Vinu Anand and having Indrajith and Manikuttan in lead roles. The film will see Simran playing a pivotal role. It is reported that she will shortly join the film. Heart Beats also has in the cast Jagathy Sreekumar, Cochin Haneefa, Charu Hassan, Anoop Chandran etc and features script by Babu Janardhanan.
