Soofi Paranja Katha: Priyanandan's Next Venture

Priyanandan, who won national acclaim with his 'Pulijanmam' is onto his next venture Soofi Paranja Katha, which has newcomer Prakash Baare, Bengali actress Sherbani Mukherjee and Thambi Anthony doing the lead roles. Others in the cast include Jagathy Sreekumar, Augustine, Indrans, Vineeth Kumar, Irshad, CK Babu, KB Venu, Aliyaar, PR Manikandan, Vijayan Karathoor, Jose P Raphael, Samvritha Sunil, Sona Nair, Sunitha Nedungadi, Valsala Menon, Geetha Vijayan, Remadevi, Ranjusha, Ria, Kulappully Leela etc.

Soofi Paranja Katha is based on a novel by the same name written by KP Raman Unni, who also does the screenplay. KG Jayan does the cinematography for the film, which is produced under the banner of Silicon Media. Mohan Sithara sets to music the lines penned by Rafeeq Ahmed. Make-up is by Pattanam Shah and Pattanam Rasheed. Gokuldas does the art direction, while costume design is by Kumar Edappal.
