Stage set for Malabar Wedding

The pooja and switch-on ceremony for Malabar Wedding, to be directed by debutante directors Rajesh and Faizal was held recently at Kochi. The film, with Indrajith and Gopika in the lead roles, will be produced by T. Santhosh Kumar and A.R. Anoop under the banner of Minerva Creations.

Rajesh and Faizal, who had been directorial assistants to popular director Priyadarshan, have also decided to include in the cast of the film popular artists like Jagathy Sreekumar, Suraaj Venjaramoodu, Janardhanan, Harisri Ashokan, Bindu Panicker etc. Atlas Ramachandran, popular NRI businessman, film producer and actor (who was recently seen in Arabikatha and Subhadram) too does a key role in the film.

Malabar Wedding, which will be shot in Kerala and Mumbai, will feature script by Ramesh Madhav, cinematography by Velraj, art-direction by Gokuldass and editing by Jayashankar. It was prominent producer and Kerala Film Chamber President Raju Mathew who lit the traditional nilavilakku during the pooja ceremony, which was graced by the presence of film personalities like Satyan Anthicaud, Major Ravi etc.
