Sumalatha makes a comeback through 'Kandahar'

Cochin, June.29 (NR): Among the few heroines of the 80's that we remember with a nostalgia, Sumalatha would occupy a prominent place.

Despite several offers from plenty of film makers Sumalatha, who had got married to actor Ambareesh was hesitant to make a comeback to Malayalam films.

However now she has given the nod to Major Ravi's 'Kandahar' in which she would play Amitabh Bachchan's wife.

Sumalatha had played heroine to both the Big M's in films like 'Nirakkoottu', 'New Delhi', 'Thoovanathumbikal', 'Thazhvaram' and so on.
