Cochin, Jan.16 (NR): Script writer Sunil Parameswaran has lashed out against youth icon Prithviraj. Sunil was speaking to a prominent film magazine recently, when he made clear why he thought Prithvi had gone back on his word.

Sunil was speaking about Prithvi having backed out of 'Madankolli', a project that Sunil Parameswaran had penned the script for, after the successful 'Ananthabhadram'. 'Madankolli' was to be directed by Major Ravi and produced by Vaishak Rajan.

According to Sunil, Prithvi had agreed to play a major role in the film, and had even accepted an advance amount for the same. He was expected to join the film by the 20th of December last year. Five songs written by Gireesh Puthenchery were also composed by M. Jayachandran. Sunil says that Prithviraj meanwhile went ahead and allotted the dates that he had given to the 'Madankolli' makers to some other film.

Sunil added that it was not just enough to keep talking about world cinema standards on TV, and that young stars should learn from senior stars like Mohanlal as to what real professionalism is.
