Suresh Gopi in Nishads Ayudham

Suresh Gopi is slated to do the lead role in Ayudham, to be directed by M.A. Nishad, who had earlier directed Pakal and Nagaram, both of which focused on issues of current relevance.

Ayudham tells the story of various happenings that take place in the process of a criminal investigation being conducted by a tough, honest, no-nonsense police officer named Rishikesh. Suresh Gopi is to play the role of the police officer in the film, which is scheduled to be shot in Dubai, Chennai and Kerala. The script for the film is being done by Nishad himself. More details regarding cast and the rest of the team are awaited. Here's hoping the film enjoys the kind of commercial success that has eluded Nishad in his earlier ventures.
