Swathi in 'Amen'

Swathi Reddy, who made her debut in Tamil cinema through ‘Subramanyapuram’, will be the heroine in the Malayalam movie titled ‘Amen’. According to the sources, Swathi plays the role of a singer in ‘Amen’.

Directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, the film casts Indrajith in the lead role. The director’s earlier two Malayalam movies, ‘Nayakan’ and ‘City of God’, too had Indrajith as the hero. Fahad Fazil also does an important role in the movie.

Swathi came to fame with her role in the television show Colours. She has also worked as a voice actor and playback singer.

‘Amen’ is said to be a romantic movie with the right mix of humor, dance, and music. The film is expected to start its shooting soon.
