Thilakan not to appear before AMMA disciplinary committee today

Trivandrum, Mar.1 (NR): The disciplinary committee of AMMA would meet today at the capital city. Actor Thilakan who has been given time till two thirty in the afternoon to appear before the disciplinary committe made it clear that he would not do so, because he has to attend the shooting of his Hollywood film 'Dam 999'.

AMMA General Secretary Idavela Babu said yesterday that the meeting would be conducted as has been decided, and if Thilakan fails to appear before it without providing sufficient reason, the committee would proceed to the next step.

Besides Idavela Babu, the other members of the disciplinary committee are Innocent, Janardhanan, T P Madhavan and Kunjan.

If Thilakan does not appear before the committee today, they might recommend to the executive committee to take necessary action against the actor.
