Thilakan to appear before AMMA on Monday

Cochin, Apr.3 (NR): Actor Thilakan would appear before the executive committee of AMMA at Cochin on Monday.

Thilakan would discuss the major issues that he has with the Association including denial of job opportunities in the film industry.

AMMA had earlier asked the actor to appear before its disciplinary committee twice. Thilakan had responded through his daughter and through a letter. The Association had expressed its dissatisfaction at the actor's responses.

It is believed that Thilakan has finally decided to present himself before AMMA, because the Association has made it clear that if the actor does not offer an explanation on Monday, they would assume that the actor had no complaints and would proceed with their decisions on the issue.

While Thilakan would discuss his ban in the industry, AMMA is expected to seek an explanation for the several statements that the actor had issued against it.
