Unni Mukundan in Orissa

Orissa is based on a reality tale in the backdrop of Orissa by one of the new generation directors M Padmakumar. The script is by Vellaripravinte Chengathi fame G S Anil.

After the successful Mallu Singh, Unni Mukundan will play the role of a Malayali police officer, Christuraj, on deputation to Orissa. Orissa is the love story between Christuraj who does not understand Oriya and Suneyi, who could not follow Malayalam. Padmakumar is in search of a suitable face for Suneyi.

Nedumudi Venu will make his appearance in a key role. The cast would include Bollywood stars and Oriya artists. Ratheesh Vega is the music director. The director and his crew have recently visited Orissa to set the locations. The shoot is expected to begin at Cuttack and nearby places by January.
