Urvasi back with a bang as MLA Shyamala

Cochin, Mar.11 (NR): The Malayali viewers hold close to their hearts a few heroines who have amazingly lent life to their characters on screen. One such leading lady is Urvasi who was one of the most sought after leading ladies during the 90's.

Urvasi who had taken a break from films for a while after a very successful career, was back with 'Achuvinte Amma', in which she got to play Meera Jasmine's mom. The film directed by Sathyan Anthikkad was a runaway success.

The actress is now getting busier in Malayalam. She has just completed 'Mummy and Me', which has her working with Archana Kavi.

Another promising film that the actress has signed is 'Sakudumbam Shyamala', to be directed by Radhakrishnan Mangalath.

The film would be scripted by Krishna Poojappura, who is riding high on the success of his latest film 'Happy Husbands'. Urvasi would be seen in the movie along with Bhama and Kunchacko Boban.

Urvasi would be playing an MLA in the film and also a strict mother in law who locks horns with her daughter in law played by Bhama.

Gopakumar would produce the film under the banner of Kunchuveetil Creations.
