V.K.P-Mithun - Dimple Team up
Aug 3, 2007 NRMalayalam film-maker V.K. Prakash (the director of Punaradhivasam, Mullavalliyum Thenmavum, Police and Moonnaamathoraal), known popularly as VKP in film and ad-film circuits, is creating ripples.
This enterprising director is known to compose every frame like in an ad film. He created news with his Freaky Ckakra, which got noted at the national and international level and with the off-beat film Punaradhivasam as well as with his last film Moonnaamathoraal, which was shot and exhibited in the digital mode. VKP is all set to join hands with Mithun Chakraborthy and Dimple Kapadia to make a film in Hindi.
Thiruvananthapuram-based marketing professional Roopan Narayanan, who is close to the Chakraborthy family, has intimated nowrunning.com that the rather offbeat film would also be the debut venture of Mithun Chakraborthy's son Rimoh (Ushmay Chakraborthy), whose elder brother Mimoh (Mahakshay Chakraborthy) is already into films and is awaiting the release of his debut venture. Rimoh is presently getting trained in acting in Kishore Namit Kapoor's acting academy.
Rimoh reportedly would be playing the younger days of Mithun in the film, which narrates the happenings that take place when two classmates happen to meet after 40 long years. Sources close to Mithun Chakraborthy, who still has immense star following in Kerala and who had impressed viewers recently by delivering a powerful performance in Mani Rathinam's Guru, say that the actor was deeply impressed with the storyline and that was what prompted him to give VKP the nod. Looks like it's great times ahead for VKP.
