Vasundhara all set for a comeback!

Ever since "Shakalaka baby…" hit the sound waves, Vasundhara Das has been a favourite singer with many audiophiles in Kerala.

And with Ranjith's Mohanlal-starrer Ravanaprabhu, she set out to win over the hearts of Malayalees as an actress too. Though she has acted in just two Malayalam films till date (the other one being Vajram), Vasundhara Das remains one of the most liked heroines in the state.

And it was perhaps this that prompted director Nizsar and his team to think of her for playing the role of Pooja in Boss, Nizsar's forthcoming film which has Suresh Gopi in the lead role.

Pooja is a film actress, quite popular in all South Indian languages. Her visit to Kerala in the course of a shoot marks the turning point in the story of Boss. Pooja's character is therefore central to the plot of the film. It was owing to these reasons that Nizsar and his crew thought of casting Vasundhara Das as Pooja.

The actress is currently in Kochi, shooting for the film. On location you can see the vivacious actress talking to her innumerable fans who keep coming to the sets in droves. We'll have to wait till Ramzan for Boss to hit the screens to see more of the actress in Vasundhara.
