Vijay Yesudas would like to continue as a singer and not an actor

Cochin, Apr.15 (NR): Singer Vijay Yesudas who recently turned actor with 'Avan', has made it clear that he would like to continue as a singer and not an actor.

Vijay Yesudas plays a singer by the name of Ramanujan in the film being directed by Nandan Kavil. He has also denied a few other roles that have come his way after he signed up for the role in 'Avan'.

"I have reached nowhere as a singer yet, and hence would like to continue as a singer. I have no intentions to be an actor and pose a challenge to Mammootty or Mohanlal in the future," Vijay added in jest.
