Vinayan announces new film with Prithviraj

Apr 29, 2004

Amma, The Association of Malayalam Movie Artists faced a setback after the young upcoming hero Prithviraj's stunning decision to go ahead with the agreement contract proposed by the Kerala Film Chamber. This got unveiled when Vinayan announced his new film titled "Satyam" today in a press conference in Kochi where Prithviraj took part as well. The other casts include Lalu Alex, Thilakan, and Suresh Krishna and all of them besides Prithiviraj have expressed their willingness to sign the Film Chamber contract.

Prithviraj has backed up his decision saying that he didn't have any other options since there is no hope for a solution soon. He also added "My decision is not against AMMA. And I do not want to go against them. But I am ready to face any consequences because of chaos that has been created". The differences among the actors are mounting as most of the young actors have expressed unhappiness over AMMA for not making any decision yet. They were expecting some solutions by Apr 20th, but most of the AMMA office bearers have left for Dubai for a star show without giving any proper directions. As the confusion grows among the actors, it looks like more artists will agree to sign the contract in the forthcoming days.
