Vinayan lashes out against Dileep

Cochin, Dec.10 (NR): Director Vinayan has lashed out at Dileep in an interview given to a prominent magazine. He says that Dileep's forthcoming film 'Bodyguard' was delayed because of the star.

He also said that Dileep was originally cast as the leading actor in his film 'Oomappeninu Uriyada Payyan'. However when Dileep insisted that the script writer be changed, he had no other option but to go ahead with the project with Jayasurya.

Vinayan said that he was against the star supremacy in films. He also added that he would continue fighting against it.
