Vindhyan is no more

Cochin, Sep.23 (NR): Acclaimed film producer Vindhyan is no more. He passed away at a private hospital in Kochin on Saturday.

Vindhyan who has been undergoing treatment for a while, was 61. Lovers of good cinema would remember him for ever as the producer of films as 'Salini Ente Koottukari, 'Vadakkunokkiyanthram' and 'Ore Kadal'.

He had associated with director Shyamaprasad on several films like 'Arike', 'Elektra', 'Ore Kadal'. Vindhyan would be dearly missed as a film producer who had the penchant of producing fine films.
