Vineeth and Kavya in Benares

Vineeth and Kavya Madhavan are to do the lead roles in Benares, to be directed by art-director-turned-director Nemom Pushparaj.

Benares is Nemom Pushparaj's second film after Gaurishankaram, which had Kavya paired opposite Munna. The film, which will start rolling on the fourth of September, will be produced by M.R. Nair under the banner of Kasi Films.

Benares will also have Jagathy Sreekumar, Nedumudi Venu, Suraaj Venjaramoodu, Harisri Ashokan, Devan, Vijay Menon, Anoop Chandran, Urmila Unni, Bindu Panicker and others in the cast.

To be shot in Benares and Thiruvananthapuram, the film will feature story by M.R. Nair, screenplay and dialogues by Cheriyan Kalpakavadi, songs penned by Gireesh Puthencherry and music by M. Jayachandran. More details are awaited.
