Was Narein taken for a ride?

Cochin, Apr.20 (NR): Narein who is currently busy with several projects in Tamil was rumoured to have been taken for a ride recently.

The young actor it seems was recently offered a major role in Major Ravi's 'Khandahar', after Surya had backed out of the project.

Overjoyed by the prospects of having landed on a plum role in his mother tongue, Narein had also accepted the offer immediately. However a couple of weeks later, he was stunned to hear that Bollywood actor Suneil Shetty has been signed for the said role.

Its not exactly clear as to what transpired in the meanwhile that prompted the makers to opt for Suneil Shetty.

Though no formal agreement was charted out, Narein is disappointed that he has lost out on a golden chance to make an impact in Malayalam films.
