If there is one thing you can't erase from this country, that is cricket. It is not just about test matches or ODIs but T-20 and celebrity matches also. Celebrity cricket matches drives the fans like no other. The game is not about bowling or batting, its more of a heroic act for their fans.

The Kerala strikers is one of the latest to join the wagon of celebrity cricket teams. With Mohan Lal as captain and Indrajith as vice-captain, the team is sponsored by a group of industrialists and director Priyadarshan. Dressed in lime green and yellow, the players walked the ramp at a recent promotional event.

The players seemed to be full of spirits and was quoted saying that they would give their best shots for the league coming up in January 2012. Since most of our Indian cricket team players are frequently seen either walking the ramp or doing commercials, guess it would be a good change to see the actors playing cricket. What an idea Sirji!
