Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 30 (IANS) With Malayalam films having a good time, especially with the smooth run of a number of sequels, yet another blockbuster of yesteryear "Kashmiram" is getting ready with its second part.

"Kashmiram" is being made by veteran producer Suresh Kumar. The film is to be directed by Shaji Kailas, who has just finished a mega project "Tiger", in which action hero Suresh Gopi plays the lead role.

"I have decided to do the second part of 'Kashmiram' that was released in 1995. Suresh Gopi is playing the role he did as a commando in 'Kashmiram'. Shooting is slated to begin early next year," Kumar told IANS.

Sequels of hit films, especially of Mammooty and Mohanlal, have been generally welcomed by people.

Mammooty's film "Oru CBI Diary Kurripu" is currently having its fourth part running into its eight week. The comeback venture of Suresh Gopi, "Bharathchandran IPS", also has done exceedingly well.
