Yet another son sings for father

A son singing for a father is not new in Malayalam cinema. Vineeth Sreenivasan had mesmerized us by singing "Karale Karalinte Karale…" in Udayanaanu Thaaram for his father and noted actor Sreenivasan. Now, yet another son is singing for his father in a Malayalam film. This time it is Deepankuran (who had earlier got noted singing "Lokasamastha sukhino…" in 4 the People) who is singing for his father, the noted poet-cum-lyricist Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri. The song, which is penned and composed by Kaithapram, is shot on Kaithapram himself in the forthcoming Malayalam film Shalabham, directed by debutante Suresh Palaanchery. Shalabham, shoot for which is currently in progress, has in the lead Sudheesh and Ramya Nambeeshan.
