At a time when films are finding it difficult to get satellite TV buyers, here is a film whose TV rights have been snapped even before the commencement of the film’s shoot.

Yes, we are talking about the upcoming Sivakarthikeyan film which will be directed by Ravikumar Rajendran of Indru Netru Naalai fame. The film also grabbed eyeballs recently when music composer Oscar winner AR Rahman has been brought on board to score the tune. The film is being bankrolled by 24 AM Studios and the cast and other details of this film are yet to be announced.

Sun TV took to Twitter to announce that they have bought the TV rights of this film. They tweeted, “@SunTV buys the broadcast rights of @Siva_Kartikeyan’s upcoming movie directed by #RRavikumar”. The film is expected to go on floors soon.
