10 special juries named for SIIMA

Ten special juries have been appointed for South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA). The awards function will be held for the first time in Dubai for two days on June 21 and 22. Films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam will participate in it.

Awards will be presented under 19 categories. First, fans will vote for those whom they consider as the best under these categories on the Internet (www.siima.in). The juries will adjudge the best among those selected by the fans and announce the names of the award winners.

The ten special juries named are: Telugu film producer Shyam Prasad Reddy, film journalist Malathi Rangarajan, actresses Kushbu, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Bharathi Vishnuvardhan and Lisy Priyadarshan, Kannada film producer K. Manchu, director/actor Prathap Pothen and director Siddiq.

There will be a variety entertainment programme during the awards presentation and leading artistes from South India will stage performances. Madhavan, Parvathy Omanakuttan and Lakshmi Manchu will act as comperes.
