A.R. Rahman to do music for 'Kochadaiyan'

A.R. Rahman will be the music director for superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming film 'Kochadaiyan'.

The confirmation has come from Rajini's younger daughter Soundarya, who directs the film under the supervision of K.S. Ravikumar.

In Rahman's micro-blogging website, Soundarya says, 'Someone I've always looked up to…admire, adore, love, respect and am in awe of Music _ the one and only A.R. Rahman.'

A big superstar fan, Rahman is delighted to get this opportunity though he is busy with his international projects. He says he would not miss a chance to compose for a film starring Rajini.

'Sultan' and 'Rana' are the two other Rajini films in the pipeline, which also have music by A.R.Rahman who won the Oscar award for 'The Slum Dog Millionaire'.
