A R Rahman to score music for commonwealth games

World Music Icon AR Rehman has been roped in to score music for the opening ceremony song of the 2010 Common Wealth Games scheduled to be held from October 3 to 14. Rahman will also be a part of the promotional events during this period.

This will be Rehman's first major international sports event for which he scores the music. And the buzz in the industry circles is that A R Rehman got paid a whopping Rs. 5.5 Crores for this sports assignment.

Sure that all sport lovers and Rehman fans would look forward for that special song.
