Sri Lankan Tamil Suresh Joachim, who has broken 53 world records, is getting ready to make a Tamil feature film in a bid to make it to the Guinness Book of Records. He visited Chennai last week and met and director Amaladas and music director Deva. He feels it is easier to make a film here on a decent budget.

Joachim aims to complete the film in just 12 days, breaking the record set by. John Gore's "Fastest Forward" made in 1990 in the UK which took 13 days from scripting to screening.

"Now I am looking to break this record by making a 75-miniute Tamil movie in 12 days and enter the Guinness Book again," Joachim has been quoted as saying in a newspaper interview in Chennai.

The project will be started on Dec.8 and the movie will hit the screens on Dec.20.. As per rules, "we will have to start right from scratch on Dec.8. The title and script will all be decided then. A Guinness team will arrive from London and monitor the whole project."

Casting and certain other issues could be worked out in advance. What has been finalized is that Navy Nair ("who loves challenges") would play the lead along with Suresh in the movie which would be directed by Amaladas, an associate of director S.A. Chandrasekharan. Deva would score the music. There would be fights, brief songs and even a chase sequence. Of the five songs one would be sung by a poor, visually challenged singer.

Joachim's motive is to help poor children across the world. On the day this movie is released, 50 children will be adopted and all their needs, including education, will be taken care of.

"There are Tamilians worldwide and they will help me," Joachim said.
