A Tirupur industrial house makes foray into film-making

A Tirupur-based industrial group has made a foray into film- making under the banner of Saran Dot Creative. Its maiden venture 'Pathirama Pathukkunga' (Take care), a family entertainer, was to have been released on Valentine's Day, but delayed. It is now releasing on March 9, preceded by audio release on March 3.

C.Somasundaram makes his debut as director with this film and is also its producer. A few new faces have been introduced in this film with Sarran Kumar at the helm of the cast. He made an impression with his performance in Prakash Raj production 'Inidhu Inidhu'. Later, he acted in 'Vada Poda' and 'Nanbargal'. In 'Pathirama Pathukkunga', he is the solo hero for the first time. Swaathi and Vaiyapuri are featured along with half a dozen other actors. Sivajee Raja is the music director.

Sources say 'Pathirama Pathukkunga' is a full-fledged family-oriented film, which has its share of romance and humour with a 'beautifully crafted' climax. It is a long time since people saw a real family entertainer like this, they added. Sivajee Raja brings back some of the melodies of yesteryear to his music.

The film has been shot at idyllic locations in Kerala, Pollachi, and a few places in Tirupur and Coimbatore. Click the Movie button below for more info:
