The relationship between poet Kannadhasan and the Tamil film industry is sure to continue for a long while! The latest from the poet's family to enter filmdom is Aadav Kannadhasan, grandson of Kannadhasan.

Aadav was an assistant to director Kumaravel in 'Yuvan Yuvathi', but now he will don the greasepaint for the film 'Ponmalai Pozhudu', directed by AC Durai for AG creations. Says Aadav,'' My father Kalaivanan Kannadhasan has directed four films in Tamil and he also assisted to director GN Rangarajan, and I was, to his son Kumaravel. I also learnt dance lessons from Jayanthi and stunt lessons from Pandian and then I worked under Vijayan of Koothu-p-pattarai. 'Ponmalai Pozhudu' has given me ample scope to show my talent,''.
