Actor Murali's son makes debut as hero
Oct 10, 2008 PVSActor Murali's eldest son Vijay, who is doing his second- year BE at Sathyabhama Engineering College, Chennai, is making his debut as hero in "Anandam Arambam" to be presented by Pyramid Saimira and produced by Ramanathan of Raj Films International.
Vishnu Sankaran, also a debutant, directs the film.
Murali has two sons and a daughter. Even while studying, Vijai has been getting film offers. He has now signed up for "Anandam Arambam" and changed his name as 'Atharva'.
The shooting of the film was inaugurated at a function held at Kamaraj Memoral Hall on Oct.9. The first scene featuring Atharva was directed by Bharathirajaa. Atharva's grandfather (Murali's father), Siddhalingaiah, who is a director, switched on the camera.
K. Bhagyaraj, Tamil Film Producers Council president Rama Narayanan, vice-president Anbalaya Prabhakaran and secretaries Sivasakthi Pandian and K. Muralidharan, Pyramid Saimira director Swaminathan, Film Artistes Association general secretary Radha Ravi, actors Prabhu, Santhanu and Senthil, actress Manorama, producers Muktha Srinivasan, Kalaipuli S. Dhanu, T.G. Thyagarajan and R.B. Chowdhary and directors Jayam Raja, Ezhil, and Saba Dakshinamurthy, Sathyabhama Deemed University vice-chancellor Jeppiyar and industrialist R. Dhanapalan were among others who attended the function.
