Actor Sarath Kumar plays a transgender role

Actor turned politician Sarath Kumar who is busy in his electoral works is donning the role of a transgender for the first time in his film career. Yes. The actor plays the role in a Telugu film titled 'Kanchana' directed by Raghava Lawrence.

While speaking about the film, Raghava Lawrence said, ''Actually I had met Sarath sir to get his dates for another Telugu film. At that time I told him that I also planning to do a ghost story called 'Kanchana' and also mentioned about the transgender character it has. Truly, he was very much delighted and agreed to play the transgender role. As an actor he has brought out a scary performance and did the justice for the character. Don't think that the film will traumatize a person because it is a ghost story. For the first time, you will feel sad and cry for a ghost. The climax will be so good and I am sure women will definitely like it".
