Actress Khushbu hospitalised for injury

Actress turned politician Khushbu, who was shooting in Cochin with Dileep for her Malayalam film, 'Mr Marumakan', sustained fracture on her left leg and was admitted to a hospital there recently.

A source present on the film crew said, "Khushbu plays Dileep's mother-in-law in the film, which has her paired opposite director Bhagyaraj. She was shooting a song sequence, which required her to hum the lines and climb down a staircase. But unfortunately, the set collapsed and she was caught by surprise. Unable to regain her balance, Khushbu slipped and fell from the staircase. She sprained her leg muscles and sustained a fracture on her left leg and was immediately rushed to a hospital there. She's now restricted to bed rest and the shooting has been put on hold for two weeks. However, Khushbu will be in Cochin for those two weeks."
