Actress Aishwarya Devan from Kerala plays the bride in 'Kandupidi Kandupidi'. It is a key role around which the film revolves. Murali plays opposite her in this suspense thriller.

Seeman plays the important character of a CBCID officer who eventually unravels the mystery surrounding an incident that takes place at a marriage hall on the day Aishwarya Devan gets married in the film. The story takes place between 8.30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m.

'Kandupidi, Kandupidi' is Rama Subramanian’s first directorial venture.

The movie is inspired by a real life incident that Rama Subramanian's father had witnessed at a marriage hall, says the debutant director.

According to Aishwarya Devan, composer Kalki Yuvan, who is the producer of the film, has come up with a nice tune 'Adada Azhagana Kalyanam'. Snehan has written the lyrics. The number was picturised in the backdrop of the wedding at a marriage hall in Theni with more than 500 junior artistes participating in it. "We have shown how a typical Tamil wedding takes place, and made sure we don't miss even a single custom while picturising the song."
