Ajith Race-ing ahead

Post the response he's been getting for his 'Mankatha' act, actor Ajith might end up doing the Tamil version of 'Race'.

"We are serious about remaking 'Race' in Tamil, thanks to one of Ajith's fan's idea to make it with Ajith sir. Let us hope we can crack this," tweeted G Dhananjayan, Chief - South Business of UTV's motion pictures division.

'Race', as evident from its title was a racy action thriller that boasted an ensemble star cast of Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Khanna, Anil Kapoor, Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif. Several people in Kollywood feel that Ajith is the perfect suitor for the role. The actor is currently busy with 'Billa 2', with director Chakri Toleti, who did Kamal Haasan's 'Unnaipol Oruvan'.
