Ajith to do film in memory of Nagi Reddy

Actor Ajith has given his consent to do a film to mark the Nagi Reddy birth centenary year.


Nagi Reddy was one of the pioneers of Indian cinema, and the veteran had produced, presented and directed several blockbusters including 'Pathala Bhairavi', 'Maya Bazaar', 'Missiamma', 'Ram Aur Shyam' and 'Enga Veetu Pen'. He also owned one of Asia's biggest studios till the 80s.


Ajith, who is said to have great respect for Nagi Reddy and his family, has agreed to work for Reddy's family production house on the occasion of the late veteran's birth centenary.


He will take up this project after completing 'Billa 2' and a film with Vishnuvardhan for producer A.M. Rathnam.
