Ameer to star in Karu Pazhaniappan's next

Director/actor Ameer seems very keen to be part of director Karu Pazhniappan’s next project.

Ameer, who was last seen in a song in Mysskin’s ‘Yuddham Sei’, will now turn a hero in a film to be directed by Pazhaniappan who became famous after his ‘Pirivom Sandhippom’.

Ameer told the media he would speak in detail after a formal announcement by Pazhaniappan. All he would say now is that he and Rajkiran would play villagers in the film.

Ameer said his signing Pazhaniappan’s film would not upset any of his own plans. He would wrap up ‘Aadhi Bhagavan’ in the next 15_20 days. He had wanted to start work on his own project, tentatively titled ‘Jihaad’ after completing ‘Aadhi Bhagavan’. Since it is own project he could put it on hold and take it up anytime. But he did not want to miss out on Pazhaniappan’s film because “he is a good director and knows how to treat even the most sensitive script. There is no way this project will upset my plans.”

Ameer played the lead in Subramania Siva’s ‘Yogi’. Karu Pazhanippan acted in Ameer’s ‘Mandhira Punnagai’.
