Arjun's 150th film 'Prasad' is family-centric

'Action King' Arjun's 150th film 'Prasad', directed by Manoj Sathi, has been made in three languages, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu. It will be released on March 24.


Arjun plays the role of a middle class man. He pairs up with Madhuri Bhattacharya. Ilaiyaraja has composed the music.


Arjun, talking to the media, said it is a surprise to him that he has completed 150 films. Most of these films underlined the importance of nationalism and patriotism, being one who loves his country. His first film was not action-oriented but of national interest. His 150th film 'Prasad' is also not an action film but one, which is centered on a family. A middle class man who believes a male offspring would be the solution to all his problems. But he begets a son who is deaf and dumb. This shatters all his dreams and leaves him dejected and frustrated. He takes to the bottle. Eventually, the same hearing and speech impaired son fulfils his father's dream. How this happens is the story. This film is different one not only for him but also for the viewers, Arjun said.


He is now shooting for Mani Ratnam's 'Kadal' and Vasanth's '3 Paer 3 Kadhal’. He is directing a film for Oscar Films and acting in it. Click the Movie button below for more info:
